The estate sale had a lot of Chinese and Egyptian artifacts. I was told it was a Manchurian warlord military dagger from the auctioneers. I can not read the symbols and I wonder why there is a pirate symbol on it. Somebody suggested navy but what if it's a cheap fake. Thank you for any help you can give.

    i do not recognize this as more than vintage fantasy dagger.....

    Auctioneers are notorious for making claims based on no research or knowledge. At least around here .
