Featured Mandruzzato, Murano

    Thought some of you might be interested in this. In researching the art glass bowl I posted in finds, I find it is by the Mandruzzato glass house on the island of Murano. I was not familiar with this firm but it seem to be a high quality maker of MCM art glass. The house was founded in 1956 by Luigi Mandruzzato. It was taken over by his son, Gianfranco, in 1967 and now by grandson, Alessandro. Here is the piece I researched.

    Is there a signature on the bottom or did you find it through research. I love the colors of the first piece.

    Not marked. Able to find it by searching "faceted geode art glass".
