Mans sterling silver ring no markings

    This is another ring I got today, no markings but tested it again with my 18k gold acid and test stone. It's sterling but it looks like the ring has been cut and made smaller.
    Still wondering why the top stones or whatever they are look so damaged, or made that way.
    Anyone have an idea on where it was made ? Or maybe the orange looking stones.

    Southwest ,orange is shell and man made turquoise with pyrite which has a trade name I don't remember right now.

    Hmm, could be either, darn. It has a silver color though.

    Pyrite is what they use to make marcasites, so it can appear silver. The orange is spiny oyster shell.
