    Hi Mansons,
Hope things are going your way. Here is a tiny tree. The match boxes are 1" by 2"s.
They are from Germany before the War ll. They were some of my play toys when I was a tot. I do not know if they were new or used when I got to play with them.

Though RP may have owned a GTO (goat) personally I don't think he ever drove a Pontiac (poncho) in competition. Pretty sure he drove a Buick at first then Olds but landed with Chrysler products only.
He even drag raced a bit.

    Ha!!!!
    A 'fantasy' one! Wow!
    Is that yours?
Have you noticed that the top number is facing the wrong direction...well, as far as today's racing goes.
And those wheels would never be on stock car.
Apparently there is a yellow Cheerios version as well.

Bobby Allison and David Pearson ran GTOs briefly.

Odd they didn't chose a Superbird or Daytona. Wonder what RP thought of it.

the Superbird was one of his cars and maybe Hotwheels couldn't get the rights to it..????

Greg - those piece look exactly like the ones I had - also circa 1930s. I didn't have the box(es), but I had many more pieces, including the farmers, herder, animal and some buildings...................and my "tree" was green at one time, it has faded to brindle sh!t brown over the decades.

    Thanks for the memory!
