Lovely, Fid. I see an arrow instead of a golf club, maybe that helps.
It is not a manta ray though, it is some other kind of ray, maybe a stingray.

thanks. not for me, for my wife. she still dreams of these - we were on Heron Island in 1998 and swam around and they came really narrow before turning off.

@Fid What does "no Opel" mean in the context of this thread?

altered Opel Mantas (by GM...) were the corvettes for continental prols (short for proletarians) in the 70s. there was even a film.

neither my wife nor me could could get out of a Vette or Manta anymore. both heavy backbone problems, me the legs, knees and left shoulder as well, because I got off the bike too often when it was still rolling.
so it's a family coach now with automatic gearbox, newest generation of seats with adjustable zones and a bit higher for my wife to get in easily.
    Mercedes class A 200d.

Thanks for explanation, Fid. I didn't know about the "Manta" car. Sorry about your aches and pains.

I drove a Manta for about a month back in the 80s. Went like the proverbial off a shovel that thing.
