Need help dating this porcelain plaque #8 out of 1999. Very well made and my phone translator translated up to a certain point. I tried the patent # which is 99306102.8 Chinese patent and didn't get nowhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated. mao1.jpg mao1.jpg mao3.jpg

I understand and recognize the historical significance, but not exactly something most would want hanging on any wall. He kind of made Hitler look like a foot soldier if I’m not mistaken. Some of the stories I have heard beyond horrific.

Google is limited on info, need time it was made. I agree. What caught my attention was the rarity, one of a limited 1999 edition.

An edition of one shy of 2,000 doesn't make something "rare" IMHO.

I don’t think the artist would want to make Mao, of all people look old. :jawdrop:
