Interesting that so many things are grouped - such as the decoys - and the estimate for the lots are so low.
Also the Windsor chair grouped with another value 40-60.

There are probably many bargains to be had, I’ve attended two Skinner auctions in person when they had militaria, and came away with truckload, one of those occasions also had to rent a trailer and palletize the rest for later freight pickup.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Which is what I originally thought about Skinners.....their estimates always seem low, as did their appraisal......didn't go with them either......

This is a local auction site for me, used to be even closer in Bolton before they moved to Marlboro. I've been to and bought at their auctions several times but don't go anymore (I find more than enough stuff without going to auction to compete with other buyers). It's nice having them close enough that I can take things to be looked at (though I've only done that once). I think their estimates are pretty close to what the market is around here. Sad but true.

As for the chairs, when they don't give an estimate that usually means they question it being period or it has had too much work done to call it period. Hard to say without being able to look it over. Previews are critical at their auctions since their single picture leaves a lot to be desired.
