    here is another of my books that I’m stuck on....... it’s Juvenile tales for all seasons by Maria J McIntosh a new edition with illustrations by kenny meadows, published by Routledge Warne Routledge 1862
    I shall upload some pics when I e shrunk them to a suitable size

    Maria J. McIntosh (1803-1878) was American, and she tended to have written her books for children during the early part of her career. Since yours says "new edition" I would expect that the original edition was published earlier. I have found some advertisements for an edition of it in the 1850s.

    Here is a Wikipedia article about her. Although it lists many of her works, it apparently doesn't list all publications.

    Nice! You didn't mention what your questions were about this book. Besides info about the author, and knowledge from the title page that this is not a first edition, what questions do you have?
