This vase is about 5 inches tall, purple with gold/gilt decoration. I thought pretty, but not special, but I do wonder about the round gold mark between 2 of the hanging decorations. Is this a maker's mark, a mistake? What do you all think? Thanks.

I would guess this is Venetian glass, and if that emblem has a winged lion on top, I think it may support that. So maybe the mark of a specific Venetian maker. Could the circle represent a stylized map?

It's definitely a Venetian maker, I've seen it. Blowed if I remember who.

That's the one, I've had a cellophane labelled vase.
