    Hi,
The mark on this bowl is blurry and unreadable by me. Does anyone recognize it? I've added contrast in the last 2 photos, but it does not help much. Thanks for any help.

The best I can make out is "University Hall". Possibly a pattern name? Harvard? Close-up of the buildings would be helpful. Also the trim decoration.

It's British and mid 19th C. I agree on something Hall as a pattern name. And I've seen the building. <sigh>

It's University, by John Ridgway & Co. It says J.R. & Co. instead of Hall.

Yes, I did some searching using Hall and transferware, but didn't find the pattern. Just now tried university hall transferware, and no match so far.
    Thanks for the idea.
