Featured Marks on muffineer

    Any guesses welcome. The crossed keys mark looks like something Larry Smith used.

    But the rest of it bears no resemblance to any mark I can find for him. This looks like S S & S, for which I can't find either a US or a UK mark. There is an S S & S on silvercollection under the "unknowns" - but not an exact match any way.

    With that strange version of Gothic script, I lean more toward UK than to US.

    EDIT - and it's Lawrence B. Smith Co, so SS&S has even less going for it.

    Well now it's posted two places on the internet so that must be it

    That last post should have been removed years ago. Not even in the realm of possibility.
