Featured Masonic Ring with Diamond and Gemstone

    Seasons greetings! I could use some help but suspect that it may require personal examination. I picked up this lovely 14k masonic ring. I find it aesthetically pleasing with a diamond and a set red gemstone. Any thoughts on the gemstone? Ruby or garnet? Synthetic? Insignificant and thus not relevant in valuation? Any thoughts on the marking next to 14K? Thank you in advance for contributing to my jewelry knowledge!
