Featured Matching necklace and bracelet set

Trying to find out more info on this set. Very detailed front and back. The tag attached to the bracelet says made in Austria so the only thing that comes to mind is Swarovski crystals. This set belonged to my great grandmother so I’m guessing it is close to 100 years old.

 

Learned about Aurora Borealis rhinestones on this forum:

"Aurora Borealis is an iridescent rhinestone finish developed by Swarovski (a maker of fine rhinestones and Austrian crystals still in business) in 1955. These rhinestones were widely used in costume jewelry manufacture in the late 1950s and early 1960s in numerous colors."

(If that's not what I'm seeing, someone please correct me.)

It's definitely a nice set. I'd think these are mid-to-late 1950s; the designs look a little older, but the stones weren't invented until 1954.

 

Agree with the above dating of late 1950s/60s.

Stylistically matches, plus the font on the tag looks to be that era.

It is a really pretty set, and to my mind some of the nicest pieces came out of Austria in those years.

 

I found a mark on both the bracelet and necklace but again just says Austria.
