Belongs to a neighbor, he's had it for years.
It seems to be rough clay, can't seem to find anything about it online.

While it does appear to have come from Mesoamerica (Mexico, Guatemala) I am afraid this was made for tourists within the last century. It is not an ancient pre-columbian style.

    I'm with 2many, a souvenir item.
It is not very recent, Maya-inspired souvenirs have been made for a very long time.
I have seen the prices of older 'pre-Columbian' souvenirs go up over the years.
