This looks a lot like mid century Italian pottery but I can place it. Some writing in the bottom I can't read. Doesn't have that classic Bitossi blue glaze, it's kind of a lighter sky blue than the dark greenish blue. Not sure if anyone recognizes it. In my experience, if I can't find an answer quickly it usually means it's not anything of note. Just curious if anybody has any guesses. I'm in western Canada for what it's worth. There's one just like it on worthpoint. They say the bottom reads Made in Italy, but they don't show it. I think your picture is upside down.

I do think you're right that it's upside-down and the only legible part is "IN".
