Hi, I'm not at all sure what I have here. It appears to be made of plastic of some sort. No idea what the images/symbols are supposed to be other than to me they have a Middle Eastern feel. The coloration is interesting and it appears to have a coat of lacqeur. It is signed, maybe Aviv or Auvu but I get nowhere with either. It measures 10 by 6.75 overall and the image measures 8 by 4 3/8. If anyone can help or give me any leads I will be

Heh, I recognized it without even having to google it. Yes, not only does it say “Shalom” in stylized Hebrew script (read right to left btw), but these types of plaques are commonly hung in Jewish homes on an eastern wall of the house. Nicer ones are made of copper or colored aluminum.
