Hi everyone! I've got an interesting thing for you all. I have a vintage Paul McCobb swiveling rocker. I've done a good amount of searching but I can't find one with flat arms. All the ones I've found have curved arms with no padding. Everything else on the chairs are identical. I guess I'm wondering if you all have any insight on this. Thank you! 20200605_180333~2.jpg 20200605_180323~2.jpg

Interesting chair, appears to be original upholstery.
    Sorry, I can't help.

Wish I could help, that's a real period piece. Just putting this in to make it easy for others to see what you mean:

Not a big deal. Furniture makers change designs over time or for a particular customer.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Very nice! ... For some reason Google image search is failing me today. So I can't be of much help. @verybrad is very experienced and I would take his thoughts seriously.

The base is different as well.

    I noticed that, too.

Took OP at word and did not look for differences. Probably a knock-off since they really are not all that similar.
