Mccoy Car Planter

    The base doesn't say Nelson McCoy to me. Possibly Brush after the McCloy family was no longer associated with the company

    I have only 2 McCoy or Brush-McCoy pieces, but both do have a raised rim around the bottom & know one, if not both, have a model number impressed into the bottom. I'm not a collector though, so don't know how things may have changed over time.

    As far as I know this has never been documented as McCoy. I think it's one of the smaller potteries like Fredericksburg or Cameron Clay.

    Don is correct on this one. It was made by Fredericksburg.

    I don't know if it is or isn't, but it's different from the one I found on the Fredericksburg facebook page.
