MCM Danish ceramic lamp

    Is this a Danish lamp ? Ceramic sandstone looking but not, and wood.

    The wood is a just little dark for Danish Modern but otherwise I would say it qualifies. Where it was actually made is anybody's guess.

    Billy, I'd certainly call it MCM and possibly "Danish Modern style".

    Can you tell if the wood part is walnut or teak? (Both were used in similar lamps.)

    Is the plug itself old? (maybe post a photo?)

    Also, that pleated shade DEFINITELY does not belong on that lamp! The lamp needs a very simple drum shade.

    Hi good morning, I think the wood is walnut. I will look for 2 drum shades today, and yes your right about the shades, Thank You..
