I bought this table at an auction bc I thought it was unique, and possibly mcm. Google lens wasn't very helpful, I thought maybe it was a table w a magazine rack but the spindles seem too close together to me for that (10" width). Obviously has veneer too....thoughts? Similar to this Milo Baughman design for Drexel that I sold. Think yours a later knock-off. The plywood top with thin edge-banding and the way the shelf attaches don't bode well for it being a period designer piece.

Later, but not a lot later. Those are slot head screws. It's too bad that the edging went walkabout.
