Hello all! I picked this up at auction recently (I paid up for it), but it does have some damage and poor repair jobs. I am wondering if you can tell me if this is one of the earlier ones from the 1900s period? I am finding it hard to confirm the marks and I know that they have been reproduced by Meissen several times. My gut tells me it's older but I would like your expect opinion. He is 7"H and very heavy. I had to get him, he is just wonderful-even with the damage! Thanks as always.
