Hello! Maybe someone knows what exactly these devices for melon or lobster are for? I've looked at a lot of information and catalogs, but I haven't found the truth. I would like to see these knives in the catalog.

While I haven't seen this knife-like form before, when I see small, close-together tines with pointy turned-up tips, I think lobster fork, used to pull the meat from crustacean shells. Personally, can't see any reason the seller wouldn't be correct in their identification, especially when they also show a set of typical French melon forks by the same maker, same pattern with the same monogram.

More typical lobster fork, new silverplate:

Yes, it's a lobster fork and it can be found in catalogs. But on the Internet they write about knives that they are for melon and lobster. Therefore, I would like to see some kind of catalog with them.

Well, keeping in mind that not all information can be found on the internet and that not all information found online is correct (seller information often wrong), can fully understand wanting to find reliable evidence like their presence in a catalog. Will say that the fact that these pieces you show are found online with melon forks (a form easily found in catalogs) from what seems obviously part of the same service, points to their not also being for melon. Sometimes common sense comes in as well - are those small pointy bent tips practical for eating or even lifting melon (which tends to be a bit heavy)? Or would they be more appropriate for hooking and pulling the meat out of a lobster or crab claws, etc.?

Hoping you find the information you're seeking...
