Member from Louisiana

I recently joined looking for informatin about a china cabinet that I inherited, and quickly found out the info I was looking for. I've always been interested in antiques since I was a child; I loved going to the antique stores in Ponchatoula, Denham Springs, and downtown Baton Rouge here in Louisiana with my mother just to look at things. Sometimes I would have enough money to get a knick-knack here or there, but I just loved looking at things from the past. My grandmother always said I had an old soul. I don't know a whole lot about antiques, so I will be more of a lurker than a poster. I don't actively collect antiques; if something captures my eye and seems a resonable price, I'll pick it up but never on the hunt for anything specific. Most of what I have antique-wise has been passed through to me by my grandparents. I'm interested in militaria, especially from the two World Wars, old cans and bottles, old signs, radios, clocks, phones, ephemera, etc.
