    Hello

While it doesn’t have any hallmarks of being new, I picked this up because of the quality and thinking it was vintage instead of antique and planned to work it in with some older pieces.

The candlestick stands approx. 9” tall, a marble base and the metal has no draw on a magnet.

I’m not sure if it is copper, brass or bronze. There is a felt pad on the bottom that I have not taken off to look for a mark, but I can find no other marks on the piece.

In checking images, I came across a pair on EBay, identical cast, no marble base, but the seller had the item dated late 1800’s.

Any date or feedback would be appreciated. – Thanks

I don't think it is new.
    Early 1900s.
Probably bronze and not copper or brass.
Good chance it is European and not American. - But that is only my opinion.

The marble makes me think possible clock garnitures. Almost surely bronze and lovely in my opinion. I would have brought them home!
