Metal(not sure what metal) brooch or pendant - new? old? junk?

    Not attracted at all to a magnet - weighs 1.3 ounces and is just over 2" across - has both a pin and a loop to be hung as a pendant - I think the loop was added later than the pin. Has a mark in the center on the back - but can't quite make it out. Maybe says ZINN for tin/pewter? Maybe says CHINA? Maybe something else altogether?

    It says 'TINN' - Norwegian pewter, a modern cast version of a traditional bunad sølje...
