Featured Metal Sculpture ID Help

    Please help me discover who "J Ford" is. I can't seem to find it myself.

    Smaller figure is 5" tall and larger is 8.5" (13 and 22cm).

    The larger figure stands astride a snake next to a perched bird. Faces on both sides of the head.

    Found at a sale in Portland, Oregon.

    possible... I don't know how bronze reacts to an acetalyine torch !

    Like my last metal piece, these guys are not magnetic. So I think in most situations, that rules out steel.

    Don't think it's brass, but don't know if it's bronze.

    Hopefully these make the color clearer. I'm leaning towards bronze.

    looks like a file was used to flatten the rolled legs and snake..

    They could be patinated cast brass.
    Keep an eye on the guy with the snake, I think he has a gambling problem.:shifty:

    The smaller one reminds me of a Balinese Legong dancer:
