This is almost 3/4" wide, ~.070" thick, ~7.3" long, ~2.3" diameter, ~1.3 ozt. Pic 5 shows it as flat as it will go. I've seen bracelets with links like this, but they were all relatively poorly done...this one is very smooth when fully flat, as in pic 1. I looked at all the Mexican marks on the comprehensive hallmark site; nothing with a crown over an O (or zero). The bayonet closure has lost most of its springiness, but the safety secures it pretty well. I would sure like to know who made it, and where. As always...Thanks for lookin'!

I've had a few of these with a fake 18ct Mark, they didn't state Mexico, but very very similar

Looks like I can see a lot of copper coming through, unless that is reflection

    I'd test to be sure

I checked Hougart's book, it doesn't have a crown over an O mark.
It is not an original or typical Mexican design, so I doubt knowing the maker would add to the value. To most people the words sterling and Mexico will be enough. The style is 60s, maybe that helps.
A lot of those bracelets were made in Italy, both real and fake. It is a pretty generic 1960s style, probably originated in Italy, but Mexican makers could have copied it.
I think whit's bracelet is silver, and probably sterling. Sterling silver used to be dirt cheap in Mexico, it certainly was when I was there in the early 70s.

Nah, Charlie...it's silver, though the alloy is (so far) suspect.

That 0825 would worry me a bit.
Some Alpaca silver looks fairly convincing.
    Just test it.

Yes, do. Something about the visual weight and the slash motif would make me suspect not silver.
