I could use some assistance with trying to decipher any of the words on this print. I think if we could figure out the title, it might make it easier to track down the artist. I am not even sure what language it is, but I am leaning towards German or Polish I think the print is contemporary with the frame. It is printed with water based ink. The subject matter or style fits with prints from the first half of the 20th century. I looked in Davenports for artists names starting with "ziz" and "ziy", only a couple. ..and the boats have a very Scandahoovian sheer line ...plus title ends in "havn" so up there in the Northern bits ..Danmark possible too?

Nice print btw, right up my alley.

There outta be a law that artists are required to print names and titles on their works.

I thought it did. And I thought the first part was Lund, also Scandi, but couldn't put the two together. Lund-something-havn?
