I found a flat, art glass bottle that fits neatly on my double hung window sills. In searching for information, I only found one other - A blue one that was a dead picclick link. The caption was Mid Century Flat Art Glass Bottle. This 9 1/2" tall bottle has a polished pontil mark, and is infused with bubbles.

I also tried vase, but that went nowhere. It is singularly useless and only decorative. It could really be a new Home Goods item for all I know. I bought it for color on a window that is never opened. But now, I want to know more. No marks, only reflections. Does anyone have any ideas, please.

The base on this shouts modern Asian. That sort of greyed indent "pontil" - it isn't, it's made to look like one.

Makes sense that it is new. I was just trying to spruce up an opaque window in my bathroom. Thank you.

Ah ha. I was deceived into thinking it was hand blown. Thanks for pointing it out. I paid $2 to put it in a window that I grayed out with opaque glass to give it some color.

It's decorative, well made, worth two dollars!

That's what I figured. Now I would have been disappointed if I paid $5 :)

Thank you. I am redoing my bathroom and while I wait, I wanted a bright spot in the one smallish window.
