What are your thoughts? Someone thought Laundry cart from hospital. But why would it have a slide top with a lock. I can't imagine someone wanting to steal laundry.

I've seen these. I believe it was meant for suspended files, made so you couold move it from office to office.

I will look into that, but it is really deep I guess I should have put dimensions on there but that sure makes more sense than laundry cart.

I would think a laundry cart would be higher so it could be loaded from a standing position. This appears to be more easily accessible from a seated one.

Okay it is 4 1/2 feet long , 3 feet tall , 2 foot wide , an just under 2 foot deep. It's huge.

Maybe it was meant to hold medical waste of some sort ? It'd make a hell of a cooler for a party !

I was wondering if it was insulated to retain cold.

Is there any evidence that at one time there was something attached inside?

If it was for laundry, either hospital or hotel, I would think there would have to be a trap door of some kind to get it out or a way to turn it on end to dump out the contents.

Hotels are probably just as bad, but believe me you would not want to be scooping up hospital laundry with your arms.
