Mid Century Modern Leather Chair (maybe not even vintage)

Found this nice little chair at thrift for $60. Judging by the galvenized golden hew screws I am fairly sure it is only 30ish yrs old, but it is very well made and has a cool star trek/jetson appeal to it i know I can sell fairly easily if I do not talk myself into keeping it.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this chair before and can identify it.

Its kind of weird in that I think the legs were changed on it because they do not look professionally screwed on (dont have pics of them close up atm). There is overkill with about a 10 wood screws securing each leg in a not very concisely spread pattern and some of the heads are even different sized. Also, the fabric on the bottom base is stapled very amateurishly. I havent pulled it off to see if I can find where different legs or a base may have been attached.

I even want to say when looking at the chair I feel like it may have originally been a swivel base.

The rest of it has a high quality feel to it. All of the stitching is super tight on the leather and straight, so whoever made the top originally, it was well made.

Anyways, anyone seen a chair like this?

If not this exact chair, have seen very similar. Original designs from Italy in the 90s. Knocked off ever since.
