Middle Eastern copper and brass tea pot?

    Hi all,

    Just picked this up at a thrift store. I did a reverse Google search and couldn't find anything exactly like it. The ones that are similar say Middle Eastern, Morocco etc. Is it copper and brass in your opinion? Handmade? I would love to know what age you think it is. There are only a few markings but nothing searchable. There is a '15' on the bottom and an 'H' on the lid. Thanks!

    Oh shoot! I was not wanting to blurt out, because @Any Jewelry might know better. (But I was thinking Moroccan) although I didn’t find this exact pattern. Also side handle doesn’t seem common.

    But I do see quite similar overall designs.

    You might want to look at marks of Hazaz Frères Fès. And see if the H mark has worn.

    Interesting! I was thinking it looks a little Art deco, not the usual handle above the lid kind of style. I looked at the Hazaz Frères Fès maker's mark but the 'H' on mine doesn't look like it fits into the design.

    Probably a coincidence. The motifs look traditional to me. I had one of those floral medallion shapes on an old Moroccan forehead pendant.
