Milk glass flour and sugar shakers with red metal lids. Have a ray design on the lid. Measure 4 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" wide. Any idea of maker?

Josh, I am just curious and it sounds like a crazy question but . . . are the holes in the two lids different sizes?

If the holes are different sizes, my point is that you don't want to "mix-up" which lid goes on the sugar and which lid goes on the flour. ;)

    Hi,
These used to come 6 pieces to 10 pieces. Also having different holes. Back then no one really used to measure or lined up the holes. My Gram's cookbook used to say "just mix it together until it feels right.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Gregsglass, I was referring to if they were to be placed on a table for use by the people eating at the table. It didn't have a dadblasted thing to do with cooking in the kitchen.

Other than making gravy, I can't think of a single thing that I would shake flower onto.

These are larger than the spice bottles, so they didn't go in the rack.

Komo, I have to say that your avatar always goes out of focus for me. I have to tell myself over and over, "it's a cat, it's a cat, it's a cat" before I see it accurately. At first I thought it was a weird monkey, then a badger. Your cat's fur coloring around his face and head is what crosses my eyes.
