Featured millefiori? art glass centerpiece

hi, i won this a few days ago on an online auction. I took a gamble with this because the seller said it might be millefiori but when i looked around online i saw a few glass bowls that had the same silver specks as mine. I was wondering if it is millefiori? Also possible age? The sticker on the bottom reads "bowls" and reads "home matters" in the yellow section of the sticker. Any info would be awesome! also its a pretty decent size bowl. Measures 6 3/4 in tall and 17 1/4 in wide.

Came across this on stbids that has the same silver specks but says its by dino martens. Not sure who the maker of mine is.

 

It definitely has a sophisticated Murano look to it to me. The disk-like shapes with shapes within appear to be a modernized take-off on the traditional, tightly shaped, millefiori. Just my impressions...

What a gorgeous bowl ! Maybe theres a signature under those stickers? I think maybe newer because theres no wear on the bottom whatsoever.

I see there is script that reads "Home Mothers" in the yellow area of the label. Almost sounds like a thrift store or charity name.

 

It reads "home matters". I tried searching but couldn't find anything

 

Oh, OK.

 

It may be an internal inventory code. It lets the store accounting folks know an item sold under the "bowls" category. I wouldn't worry about removing it. There may be more information on the stickers underneath.

I've seen these modern "large millifiori" called Murines.

"Millefori" is made up of many "murrine" of different colors/styles.

Wikipedia actually has a decent explanation.
