Featured Millefiori Paperweight - Clichy Rose?

Hello again

I bought a glass millefiori paperweight. 2.75" wide, 2" high. I don't know much about paperweights but the 12 pink flowers on the outside look like Clichy roses?

Would this be a genuine antique Clichy paperweight or have I done myself again?

 

It's very well done. My caveat is that the clear glass colour is a bit muddy, if that makes sense. The roses are also not complex enough for Clichy. Having said that, it's a good thing. Stick it on glassmessages or the paperweight page on Facebook, there's some seriously good people there.

 

I agree with Ownedbybear. IMHO while well done..not of Clichy quality. Many companies did "take offs" on clichy rose. I am sure you can get help on paperweight section of glassmessage board.

 

I think a side-on view of a paperweight can be helpful because it shows any layering within.
