I have no knowledge of these items other than I purchased a bag full of them in Charelston, SC at a thrift shop. I’d like to resell but not sure what to charge.
    Thanks so much!

We have some experts here that most likely can tell you what you've discovered. I would suggest you make a post for each one so it can be photographed, examined and discussed individually. It will be difficult for you to discuss them all at once.
Also, try to take a photo of the entire front of the piece, as well as the entire back of the piece. Please tell us what material the frame is constructed of...you know? People will want to know if there are any markings that might help you to identify them, also.
    Let the games begin! :joyful:

Thanks! I didn’t want flood the place if they’re not worth anything!

    I’ll try again tomorrow.

    @i need help
Some where on the board are a couple of threads about ivory or celluloid frames with ladies.
The frames almost always have pages from old books in a foreign language.

Again, I think these are earlier than the 1930s.

@moreotherstuff you may be better to help with these.

I would not make a post for every portrait.
You can put 3 or 4 in a post. Put a number next to each one. That way we have something to reference to keep the information straight.
Use Full image when you post them.

I did see those. I have 3 of those frames I have not posted yet. They are celluloid with wooden backs tagged Italy. Tomorrow I will give it my best shot and start fresh. Thanks!

    Welcome, @Snick

    Nice pieces... :)

When you do upload, please select "full size" so we don't have to open each one, much easier to compare that way - thanks!

If you use a jewellers loop you should be able to tell whether they are prints or paintings
Don't be afraid to take them completely out of their frames, just lift the metal triangles that hold them in carefully.
