Miniature Oak Object ?

    It's deinitely books, they sit at a 90 degree angle, sideways. Might be for a miniature set.

    Thank you it’s very well made could be for a run of smaller books like a set of some sort.

    Yup, a trough. There were sets on mini Shakespeares and encycopaedias.
