    Hi,
I have set like those only mine was from the Johnstown Flood. The railroad dumped the debris from Johnstown nearby my Great's Aunts farm. I remember back in the 1950s there was a swarm of people living in tents that were digging up
the woods were the stuff was dumped. My Aunt said the State Police were called to
chase the diggers away. I got my cat from the site.

Yep, it is all one piece.
Someone got rid of a bunch of cats pottery miniatures at the local TS but this was the only one that I liked and bought.

Greg, any idea where is this piece coming from and how old? You have exactly the same one?

    Hi,
My cats had different coloring but were they German or English? They were a lot older than Japanese ones.

    Hi,
Meaning mine were from the 1880s. Japanese were sort of 50s and later.

Those aren't porcelain. Pottery of some kind. I don't think they're that old.
