Hi I'm a miniature toby collector. I've been collecting since I got my first from my grandmother around the age of 15. I have no idea what it was but my parents love to go to antique stores and flea markets and I eventually came across 3 occupied Japan small tobys about the same size. I went up and asked what they were and of course I went home with them and from there I was hooked. I eventually learned my first toby was a balloon lady. Of course, that intrigued me and piqued my interest even more. As they say, the rest is history. So some odd 350-400 tobys later, I love it just as much today being 40+ yrs later.

French Faience Toby Jugs.jpg Hi all! Thanks for the warm welcome! I recently purchased 8 tobys that are all French Faience and I also had one too. So now there are 9. They are 4 1/2" tall and my new babies! They're original owner got one passed down from his grandmother thru mother to him. And he didn't collect tobys but thought there facial expressions were fascinating and only bought if they were different. They are all the same toby but all different. And I love them!
