this lot i brought online just because of the silk leaf “iron” but there a few that i would love to know that are .... love the “sewing machine” but it has no name on it only the word patent and the tiny “pan” that can be resized it make me happy.
    thanks

I think the first one you show has something to do with rug hooking.

There is a jeweler's saw frame and a hand held vice metal clamp, both used by jewelers and gun smiths.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Good photos!

What is the long, curved thing just to the right of the possible sewing thing? Looks like it opens and closes but also has a bar of a different metal underneath it?

I think that a lot of the things there could have been for stain glass window making. I see two glass cutters for sure, a soldering iron, the chisel would be useful to cut preformed lead, the compass to measure stuff, the brass wood item in the second photo might be for snapping glass in sheets, and the item below that in the first photo... not at all sure about the rest, though...

    Hi Komokwa,
Did your dad do a lot of fret work with the saw?

After looking up what a fret saw is,a fret saw and a jeweler's saw frame are the same tool and just use different type of blades. But they are not a coping saw which I answered to a post above.
