Oh and... err...this. I have two **proud**
I bought them from a metal detector-er at a booty for 50p each, many years ago just for novelty value. He claimed they were coprolite, I'd never heard of that before so was worth it for the 'ucation
This one is the biggest one ( lol) and it's 3 inches long. Heavy ish.
I missed the most important pic! It looks folded at the front. I can take another if required **which I doubt**.

Brooches! I think one is a bull eye agate? But it's damaged.
IDC it's still welcome in The Hoarditorium .
None have markings that I can see except the blue one,it says SILVER RIM on the back...the *stone* feels like plastic

This is a VERY bubbly glass...the clasp looks like gold so I expect it's been restrung? It's approx 21 inches . It has like dirt-bits in it

I did have a close up pic of the beads but cannot find it, got hundreds of pics here and am mega confuzzling myself as per

This one again I have no idea. Feels plastic-y a bit but don't think it is.
No markings on clasp, beads all different shapes n sizes, non uniform. It's short, 16 ish inches

Love the brooches, Bou, nice stones.
Yes, bull's eye!:hilarious: The other ones are agate/carnelian.
Could be gold, and another nice old one.
No UV light yet? Maybe dark amber?

Many thanks,Joy...wish you were closer, I'd love to share these with you. They are very tactile! Need to be handled! (I am clumsy, so I do it carefully!)

I also meant to ask, I know you collect dolls, Joy...do you only collect antique ones? because i have a HUGE vintage fashion doll collection, Sindy mostly, and I'd love to show you if you were interested.I know Sindy and antique are worlds apart, but I have a few antique dollies too, things just SLIP IN xxx

    kyratango Bug jewellery addiction!

Last beads being not uniform in their round shape might be cherry amber... are they light in hand?
Celluloid is very light too but would be perfect round, and bakelite or like are heavy.

Brooches are good - as aj says, you've at least two gold ones.

The coprolite has fossilized to something metal that a detectorist could find? Heavy metal poop.

Bull's eye agate needs more respect.

The swirly blue 'stone' looks like enamel from here, but I can't feel weight & texture. Whatever, not from Mother Nature.

Sorry Bou .. I overslept, sat up half the night watching an older pre historic type movie with Rachel Welch in it ,, it was so sill .. the pre historic women had perfacr hair-do,s and full make-up on the whole time ... I couldn't take my eyes off of it .. just to catch the fau'pas and stupidness of the whole thing. BUT .. To answer your question .. Yes, I only collect antique dolls 100 yrs old or older :) ... Joy.

AND ANY SCRAP ANTIQUE FINE COTTON, SILK, etc. Including small and narrow old lace .. as I hand-sew tiny garments for a few of them that are in need .. sometimes they have original clothing still on them that require some tiny repairs ... It's a labour of love I can tell Ya !!! ... Joy. :):):)

The Kestner I have no idea where she is, she's huge as well...so you'd think would be hard to lose but nope...I did find this ancient pic of her I had on Flickr , probably 13 or so years ago now with my real baby girl. ( Now my *baby* is taller than I am...time flies, time flies)
I'll have a look out for my others! And the goddam Kestner xx
