Picked this up at the thrift store this week. 10 1/2" tall. It is signed but can't make much of it. Pictured the way I think it reads but it also looks like it could read upside-down so provided one that way.

Brad: read no further, I am just venting here. :)

Since I have frightful handwriting, I'm no one to talk, BUT -- I am not an artist, who (presumably) would like to be recognized for my lovely work, get paid for my artistry, and keep the children fed!

The potential evils of such nonsense was brought home to me early in life when I read, "Just David," by Eleanor H. Porter (of "glad girl" fame). Had to do with a Stradivarius and an...Amati...? owned by a violinist who was in his day, so famous that he considered that any/everyone would recognize his wretched scrawl.

    They didn't.

Think it might be F-fors (for Flygsfors?) .

Edit: Was posting at same time as anundverkaufen. Looks like I was wrong.

Searching Bengt Orup Johansfors, this is the first thing that comes up.

"Designed circa 1958 by Bengt Orup for Johansfors Glasbruk of Sweden tall bottle and conical vase. Long thin tapered necks with green to clear fade. (Featured on page 12 of Leslie Pina's "Smoke & Ice"). Both Signed "J-Fors Orup"

Doesn't seem to be too much interest in these but have not found another of this shorter version yet. May be another one of those "good" things I have trouble selling unless I want to sell short.
