The mark on the bottom says Etienne. A French surname? Or it is also sometimes a given name?

I wonder if there's any chance it's this guy:

Born in Grenoble in 1952, French sculptor Étienne Pirot, aka Étienne, spent his childhood and his youth in the "Dauphiné" province. He went to University in Ottawa (Canada) and back in France, he obtained a degree in plastic arts in Marseille. Then he became a student at the "Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts" in Paris and an art teacher from 1974-1976.

He used marble, stone and wood in his first works but soon opted for bronze as the material enables him to play with solid and hollow forms.

Here is his own website, you can see that the signature and the work of Etienne Pirot is a long way from those two items, is this broken under the head of the 6th picture, looks like molded material retracted ?
It's the sort of decorative items we see on all "vide-greniers" without any indication of provenance, sorry.

@Lecollectionneur that's just a fancy typestyle to advertise his website, not necessarily his "signature" lol.
