Our southwestern Pennsylvania area is home to many antique salt-glaze crockery makers. This piece is a modern take on the cobalt-decorated crock. I like the artwork-it's charming. It wasn't made to deceive...nobody would think it was antique. I would like to know who made it though. It's marked with a brown-slip signature on the underside. Is anyone familiar with this mark?
