Might be a lost cause. Probably a local artisan, but thought I'd run it by the group. Can anyone make out the name on this modern collage piece? Thanks.

For anyone here who talks about re-purposing items....like jewelry....this must be the most interesting collage ever seen here !

It's planned, and well thought out , with good balance and symmetry , & a careful use of design and color....
I gotta hand it to the artist....this was not thrown together lightly !!!
    Nice find Lucille !!

Nice, charity shop bits and pieces. Two upside down Chinese seals at the top. Even Venetian style trade beads.
Yes, Frida Kahloo. Can you use a reproduction of another artist's work and put it in your own?

It is well done - an assemblage rather than collage...

Yes, Frida. The first thing that caught my eye. No idea if you can use miniature prints of people legally, seems like if this was sold at a department store in mass production it would probably be a no no unless some kind of permission was granted. But guessing this was a craft fair item or small store local artisan item. I even thought maybe a home project, but then saw the signature, suggesting artisan.

"Assemblage", thank you Cheryl. As I was typing "collage" I thought, that's not quite it...

I appreciate all the eyes on this.

With the "Day of the Dead" comment, give me an idea that I might consign this at a local store (that loves DotD items.) Without knowing the artist, this is probably not a good for an Ebay sale. Any other suggestions on the artist, although might be a lost cause if a small local outfit.

I think any Frida Kahlo enthusiast would adore this.

I think I'd keep it, I like the quirkiness of it.
But then again, you can't keep everything....
