Featured Modern glass round vase -- nearly positive this is Chinese, or?

    GW purchase, thinking this is a contemporary Chinese piece. 10" across, 6" high. Purchased it because it has a nice overall look, and will probably consign at an upscale consignment store that loves this kind of thing.

    Am I correct it is Chinese?

    The base is a giveaway, right?

    Anyway this particular consignment store loves art glass and modern look, so off it will go. (I just didn't want to hand over an Italian one, so thought I'd check here.)

    Could equally be modern Eastern European. Either way, it's very decorative indeed.
