Modern Jacquard or Antique

    It is certainly very nice, with elegantly depicted scenes. It is probably rayon, synthetic silk.
    A lot of these were/are made in Turkey, but if I remember correctly they are also made in the Middle East and Egypt. They have been sold to the West for decades. It is difficult to say when this one was made.
    We have had something similar on the forum before.
