Featured Modernist Ceramic Sculpture

    I bought this ceramic piece today.
    It measures about 31cm across. It has an incised signature DB.

    It’s abstract but I get a feel of birds.

    I can’t find the sculptor/potter . Perhaps a student piece but it is very accomplished.

    Any thoughts?

    definitely looks like something on the move, my first thought was dolphin

    I didn't catch your mention of "DB" initially, but in looking thought it looked like a possible signature in your first image, down to the right, but also looks VERY hard to read after having the glaze (???) put on........enlarged and inverted in my 2nd image, but couldn't actually make it out....also think the lighting is shining on what could be part of a siggy as well.....LOVE the fluidity of the piece tho!!!
