Moms Ladies side chair?

    Agreed. Looks like Victorian influence - but not Victorian - sometime between the 1960s and 1980s......:)

    Agree, vanity chair. Likely Italian 60s or so.

    I'm not the furniture expert that Brad is.
    I think this is something that one needs to see.

    Vanity sets would not have been very popular here in the US during the 1960s.
    I'm thinking this might be a tad earlier.

    A close in of the joints appear to be pegged under the gilding. The piece has single scroll feet. When I google vanity chair, I do not find anything remotely like it, at least not after 1920. The back isn't decorative and leads me to believe it was designed to be against a wall. (I am a complete amateur)
