Monkey nutcracker

    Found this 11” tall monkey nutcracker today in a small thrift shop. The only other example I’ve managed to find is one in the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum, who say it’s carved from ironwood and comes from South America but give no indication about how old it may be. Any ideas?
